Expanding our wildlife area on the farm
Thanks to a generous grant from the Duckworth Worcestershire Trust, we’ve begun work on a major enhancement to our wildlife area here on the farm.
This project will boost biodiversity on the farm and create new habitats for local wildlife. It’ll also become a key part of our environmental education work, giving children hands-on experiences that spark curiosity and a love for the natural world.
We were also delighted to welcome a brilliant team of volunteers from Malvern Panalytical yesterday, who gave their time and energy to help us get the project off to a flying start.
In just one day, they:
✅ Built a raised pond which will be wheelchair-accessible for inclusive pond-dipping activities
✅ Installed new fencing posts
✅ Relocated our bird hide
✅ Cleared a large area of dense brambles
Their support has helped us make real progress, and we’re incredibly grateful for their hard work and enthusiasm.
