Join Us On The Farm!

Starting on 17th February, we’ll be running a weekly Rural Skills and Social Group on Monday afternoons from 3pm – 5pm, free to join for adults of any age.

Spending time outside in nature, learning new skills and exploring new interests and creative activities has huge benefits for our mental wellbeing.

Our sessions are aimed at supporting anyone that would benefit from spending time in a relaxed group setting, building their confidence and connecting with other like-minded people in their community.

Learn Some New Skills

Each month we’ll have activities following different themes, all based around learning more about nature and the outdoors. All activities will be led by a member of our team, experienced in designing accessible and impactful activities for all.

We’ll be exploring how to grow your own vegetables, having a go at some bushcraft skills, working with animals, and getting creative with flowers, woodwork projects and willow weaving.

At least one of the session activities each week will be designed to be accessible for adults of all ages and physical abilities. There’ll also be plenty of time for a sit down, a chat and a cup of tea.

Theme for February

Our theme for the first month will be all about spring time – learning about preparing the land for planting and how to support our local wildlife such as bees, when they first start to emerge!

Get Involved!

The sessions are very relaxed, and people can join the programme at any time with no commitment week to week. Please do drop us a message if you’d like to come along, to help us in planning activities.

We are passionate about reaching those who would benefit from sharing our beautiful site and becoming part of our wider Bonterre community.
