Bonterre Community Club

We run a weekly Community Club on Monday afternoons from 3 – 4:30 pm, free to join for adults of any age that would like to get involved in the Bonterre project.

We know from our own experiences that working in the open air and connecting with other like-minded people has huge benefits for developing confidence and improving mental health.

We provide a setting where you can socialise in a relaxed environment, spend some time outdoors in nature and develop some new skills around the farm.

There’s always plenty to do around the farm, growing fruit, vegetables and flowers or working with our animals and poultry.

We’re keen to hear ideas for community projects to enhance the site too – maybe you’d like to help build a bushcraft camp kitchen, do some group gardening in our sensory garden area, build some new wildlife habitats or create an obstacle course for the children that attend our programmes.

We’ll also have a seated planting or crafting activity each week for those with mobility restrictions, or if you’d just like to join us for a cup of tea and a chat – all are welcome!

The sessions are very relaxed with plenty of time to chat and meet other like-minded people in your local community.

People can join the programme at any time and there’s no commitment week to week – we’d just ask if people can drop us a message if they’d like to come so we have an idea of numbers for each session.

We are passionate about reaching those who would benefit from sharing our beautiful site and becoming part of our wider Bonterre community.
