Onsite Private Tutoring: Education for Children Who Need Something Different
We are proud to announce the launch of Bonterre’s new private tutoring service
Bonterre is very excited to announce the start of a new service here on the farm! Set up by Hayley, a fully qualified teacher (PGCE) with 13 years of experience across Birmingham and Worcestershire schools.
Our tutoring service has been created to support students who may be falling behind in school, experiencing anxiety around learning, or returning to education after a period of absence. Sessions are tailored to each student’s needs and can focus on core subjects such as English and maths, as well as general study skills and confidence building.
For many young people, traditional tutoring environments can feel pressured or overly formal. Bonterre’s approach aims to be different—combining structured learning with the relaxed, supportive atmosphere that the organisation is known for.
Learning in a Supportive Environment
What makes the tutoring service distinctive is the setting. Rather than taking place in a conventional classroom, sessions are delivered within Bonterre’s natural environment. This approach helps reduce stress and create positive associations with learning, particularly for students who may have had difficult experiences in school.
Supporting Confidence as Well as Academics
While the tutoring service will help students strengthen their academic skills, its wider goal is to rebuild confidence in learning. Many of the young people who attend Bonterre benefit from small-group or one-to-one support that allows them to progress at their own pace.
By combining academic tutoring with its established wellbeing-focused approach, Bonterre CIC hopes the new programme will help more young people reconnect with education and reach their potential.
As demand grows for flexible and supportive learning opportunities, Bonterre’s tutoring service represents another step in the organisation’s mission to create inclusive pathways for education and personal growth
