Bonterre Families Programme

We have a new programme to provide holiday activities to families in the local community!
We wanted to provide additional support for families facing challenging circumstances in their lives, by running activity sessions and visit days, guided by our fantastic team. These events give families the chance to get outdoors in the countryside, learn more about nature and try some new experiences on the farm.
We’ve recently run our first few events, in partnership with Dines Green’s Community Builder, supporting families in the Dines Green area of Worcester.
Families had fun meeting and learning more about our animals, made their own artwork using flowers and natural decorations collected from around the farm, and went on a nature walk, listening to the birds and eating wild blackberries!
Our families programme is aimed at supporting families of children with additional needs or family members with long term health conditions and disabilities and those on low incomes. Any organisations working with families in the local area are welcome to contact us to find out more about arranging a group event with us.
