One amazing way you can help us, is by becoming a volunteer. Maybe you could come and help us pick apples, or maybe you can help sell them. Maybe you are great working with children and would like to help out occasionally. Whatever your skill, it is incredibly rewarding working at Bonterre and everything we do helps disadvantaged children in and around Worcestershire.
We are currently looking for volunteers in the following areas but if you think you can help in a different way, please still get in touch.

Children’s Support Volunteer
We are looking for adults who would like to work alongside our skilled children’s workers. This is an excellent opportunity for people who love the outdoors and want to gain experience in working with children with a range of needs.
Children are grouped into teams of up to 4 children with 1 or 2 members of staff. Your role is to complement the member of staff by:
- Being a positive role model for the children
- Engaging the children in conversation
- Assisting the member of staff in planned activities
You will not be left in sole charge of children, but you do need to be fit enough to walk 3-4 miles per day. Lunch is provided if you work over lunch.
The children are on site between 10am and 2pm, Monday to Friday, so you will need to be available to volunteer at those times. You do not need to commit to whole sessions but it is hoped that you could commit to a regular slot each week.
You will need to complete a DBS check and provide references. If you have a criminal record from the past, please discuss this with us in confidence as it won’t automatically mean that you present a risk to children.
Please email us a completed volunteer application formĀ using the details at the bottom of the page.
